If you were told as a young person, as I was, that writing or coloring in your Bible was a sin, I encourage you to re-think that life commandment that someone “put on you.” That statement is not Biblical and not true. Any doodling, coloring or writing in your Bible that encourages Bible Study is a plus, not a sin. Remember, the devil wants to keep you from believing, reading, studying and applying the truths in God’s Word. How to Color-Code Your Bible is a fun way that will encourage your Bible study. Especially new Believers, can get confused, discouraged and even bored with Bible study if they do not have a system to their reading and studying the Scripture.
I am sure you have seen Bibles with pre-colored verses that are selected by the publisher. That takes a lot of fun out of finding and selecting verses that are meaningful to you. Authors, Alice Cullinan and Carolyn Sears have some fun and creative tips on how to create your own Bible color-coding system.
Color-Coding your Bible will help you identify words, phrases, verses, and even chapters that are meaningful to you. Their system helps you to separate topics and quickly identify themes that you are studying. They suggest colors for topics they have identified in their own Bible study and they suggest topics and verses to begin coding with your favorite colors to get you started such as: promises, prayer, Holy Spirit, second coming, witnessing and color-coding different Bible characters.
You could color verses blue that God has used to encourage you and strengthened you when you were in a crisis. And then every time you see a blue verse it reminds you of how much God loves you when He brought you through a difficult or troubling time.
Color-Code Your Bible will enhance your Bible study and walk with the Lord.
I highly recommend this short, but helpful and encouraging color-coding system.

ColorCoding Your Bible edition by Dr Alice Cullinan Rev Carolyn Sears Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Great ideas for marking my Bible to get back to favorite verses and be ready to share with someone. Short, easy, helpful read.
Short, sweet, and to the point. Really enjoyed the book and the guidelines given to get one started. Thank you.
Very helpful for beginners in Bible marking. Good tip on pencils instead of markers. Good suggestions on how and what topics to mark.
This "book" is very short and I felt the contents were obvious.
It was unfortunate that there were problems downloading this book. I had no difficulty purchasing the English version. This problem has been resolved and I encourage all to purchase this book. The concept of color-coding the Bible is not a new concept, as the author admits . I applaud Dr. Cullinan on taking color-coding to a more personal level. This book provides the reader with a step by step instruction (demonstrated by photos, examples, and suggestions) that is simple to understand while taking into account the imagination and creativity of the reader. If you are searching for ways to highlight your Bible you will not be disappointed with the endless possibilities that are presented in this book and for .99 who can pass this up?
Haven't gotten the guts to mark up my new expensive Bible yet but will have great instructions when I do.
AND START STUDDING IT!!!!
This is a good little “how to” study guide. Quick read with good ideas. Have fun.
